If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about the
programs and services available at The Gathering Place, please call our
Enrollment Coordinator: 713-729-3499, extension 34, or just stop by for a
tour. One of our members will be happy to show you around.
The main requirements for membership to the Gathering Place are:
* A mental health diagnosis
* 18 or Older
* Following a treatment plan
* Not a danger to self or others
After your tour, we will ask you to fill out a membership application.
We will then set up an orientation for a later date. We will also ask for a
referral form to be filled out by your psychiatrist, case worker or
therapist as well as a consent for release of confidential information.

The Gathering Place provides a safe place for adults with mental illness to
find the support they need through support groups, job skills building,
employment assistance, and recreational activities. Membership at The
Gathering Place is free, voluntary, and unlimited. This means that there is no
cost to you, there are no attendance requirements, and your membership
never expires.
The Gathering Place is open Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
