Ways to Help

Volunteer
In addition to serving on our Board of Directors and Advisory Board, opportunities
abound for volunteer service at The Gathering Place. We actively welcome you to share
with us the gifts of your time, knowledge and experience. Clubhouse members look
forward to guests from the community who come to TGP to teach everything from piano,
art, and cooking to auto maintenance, mock interviews, and foreign language. Through
our “Adventures in Life” lecture series, we welcome volunteers to simply come and
share photos, souvenirs and anecdotes of their lives in a comfortable, informal setting.
As transportation is always an ongoing issue for our members, we welcome volunteers
to provide transportation for our members both to TGP and to outside community

Make a donation.
The Gathering Place depends on the financial contributions of our supporters to keep all
of our services free of charge to those in need. Secure online credit card donations are
100% tax-deductible and accepted through Network for Good.

    helping people with mental illness.

    A planned gift to The Gathering Place helps to ensure the future of the services and
    programs we provide in our community and may further your financial goals. What
    are planned gifts? Planned gifts include gifts through your will, charitable gift
    annuities, gifts of life insurance, pooled income funds, and charitable trusts.
