Programs and Services
The Work-Structured Day
TGP clubhouse members take ownership of running the daily activities of
the organization while simultaneously participating in their own recovery
process.  Members can choose to participate in three training units within
the program:  Business, Retail and Maintenance.  The focus of this
program lies on the participants’ strengths, talents and abilities, and is
designed to help them regain marketable job skills as well as self-worth
and  purpose.   Every day at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., unit meetings are
held to discuss activities of the unit for that portion of the day and to assign
duties to members.

Education
Staff and clubhouse members provide skill training on all contemporary
office software and equipment.  Participants receive certification for skill
mastery and in some cases go on to facilitate specialty courses for the
organization.   Additionally, staff and community volunteers offer
educational courses on a variety of subjects including GED preparation,
foreign language, advanced computer software, fine arts, auto
maintenance, and much more.

Employment
Staff assist those who are ready to go back to work with job readiness
training, including identifying areas of employment best suited to each
member, application and résumé completion, job interview training, and
members’ job search.

Wellness
Program participants identify monthly physical and dietary challenges.
Staff and outside community volunteers speak regularly on health issues
inherently unique to our membership including medication management,
daily living skills training, symptom management, and healthy diet and
exercise.

Socialization
The socialization program allows societal reintegration to participants
through outings and special events.  This program is deemed vital to
recovery by virtually all psychiatrists. TGP offers socialization activities in the
form of unit outings (quarterly field trips) and Monday Fun Days (the fourth
Monday of each month).  The Fun Days consist of competitive games,
prizes and food.  Members play an active role in planning and
implementing all of these socialization activities, which strengthens
relationships  as well as builds self-esteem and planning and
implementation skills of the members.
